  • My interests in traditional printmaking forms such as silk screen printing, letterpress,  hand-lettering, and book making inform my graphic design work, and vice versa. In the world of fine arts, medium is becoming increasingly cross pollinated. Similarly, I work to bridge the gap between contemporary graphic design and fine arts by reminding myself of the traditional techniques used to produce design.

    A fold-out poster highlighting Erik Spiekermann's typeface Officina. This booklet is part of a larger typeface study by the 2011 junior typography class at Ohio University. Each individual study fits into one hand-made package to fit in any designer's bookshelf.

    The project was a winner in the student category at the Columbus Society of Creative Arts' 2011 Creative Best competition.
