Art School: 20 Pieces of Advice to Help You Thrive
- My time in art school has taught me lessons which will stay with me in everything I create. My hope is to share with you some of the most important themes, credos, and practices impressed upon me. These are things that I have worked, wish I had worked, and intend to continue working by. Although I believe that nothing can replace experience, hopefully you keep these ideas in mind while navigating through each and every artistic effort.

- My research compiled 20 of my most valuable pieces of advice for art students. An original letterform was then produced for each phrase using hand-drawn and digital techniques. Each letter is accompanied with an image and each phrase is explained in a short, informal, but intelligent paragraph.
This book was created as my senior thesis in graphic design at Ohio University.
A special thanks to all of my mentors, colleagues, friends, and family who have taught me every one of these valuable lessons.
